Who we are
Ready Cyber is the trading name of Rony Kakooza, a sole trader based in London, who is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact: hello@readycyber.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, organisation, work email, organisation size and anything you choose to tell us in the contact form or by email.
- Client work: the business contact details and technical information needed to deliver an agreed service.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and send information you asked for (legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract).
- To deliver services you have agreed to (contract).
- To keep business and tax records (legal obligation).
- To send occasional business-to-business emails about our services to organisations we think may benefit (legitimate interests). Every such email includes an easy way to opt out, and we keep a record so we never contact you again after you do.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the business: Netlify (website hosting and form handling) and Microsoft (email). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months.
- Client records: six years after the work ends, for tax and legal purposes.
- Opt-out records: kept so we can honour your request.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or restrict how we use it. Email hello@readycyber.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
